Yesterday we had the opportunity to video tape your groups discussion for chapter 5 in "The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe." I think that we can make the discussion better by we go down the row so everyone can get a chance to talk on each question. In the discussion what seemed to me is that everyone got to talk the same amount of time. I also think that we did the discussion on a great day because everyone had their guided reading homework done and we had a great discussion on the book, "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe". I think that we could do a better discussion on the book. I also think we could work on not looking down at the floor and looking at you or at the camcorder.

Dear Ms.Vander Velde,
I think that our discussion on chapter 5 went pretty well. But,if I were to change something about the discussion I think that we should minimize the word "um" because some people say "um" way to much including me. I think that our discussion about chap.5 could have been better because the group and I should have been more specific with words we were saying like instead of "he,she,and they" we should have said specific names like "Lucy,Edmund,Susan,or Peter.". I thought the discussion went good because we described our prediction and used story details to help us. This is what how well I thought the discussion went.
