Omri went down stairs to eat breakfast. It was like a train station at their house. The kids running down. Omri ate his breakfast and went to school. On the way he thought if he had killed the Indian in the cupboard. He forgot that it was his field trip to the pool. Omri forgot his swimming trunks. Already half way to school. That got his mind off the Indian.Omri told Patric(the one that gave Omri the Indian.) that the Indian was the best present he got even better than the skate board that he was wishing for. Omri almost blew the secret. Omri was scared if he talked about the Indian someone will get in trouble. After school Omri could not wait to play with the Indian. He came back home and rushed to the Indian. He opened the cupboard. He was plastic again but he is in a different position. Omri thought he killed the Indian. He put him back and opened it again later. He was alive again and hungry. Omri suck down to get some Coka-Cola and some corn in a can. He ran back up to the Indian. He sat there. Omri gave him a piece of corn and a crumb of bread. It was too big but the Indian still ate it. That is when Omri realised the Indian was real.Omri got a plastic teepee for the Indian to sleep in. He did not want to but he did. Omri cut out a square from his old sweeter for the Indian to use as a blanket. The Indian did take it and went right to sleep. That is what happened in chapter two.
In chapter 2 I read that Omri got ready for school. He wanted to open the cupboard and see what happened.Then Omri thought that if he would close the door and open the cupboard then his family would open the door. It was time for breakfast. Omri decided to eat quickly and then clean his teeth and open the cupboard. To late, his brother was eating his breakfast. His older brother made a fit with his mom. It turned out that nobody in the family even cleaned their teeth. After they were done eating the family left the hose. Just then Omri discovered that he had swimming practice, and he forgot his swimming suit and things for swimming! Omri blamed his brother for making him forget his things and for making him late for school. Then all of a sudden he forgot about the Indian! When he saw Patrick he remembered. When they got to school they had a spelling test. On the test Omri got 3 out of 10. Patrick thought that the Indian was smarter than him. Patrick asked Omri if he could visit his house. Omri was afraid that Patrick would find out the Indian was alive. When he got home he thought the Indian was dead! Omri couldn't even eat. Then Omri found out that the Indian was alive! The Indian started to tell Omri some commands. The Indian told Omri that his name is Little Bear. Omri started to build Little Bear a tepee. Little Bear looked at it. He said that there needs to be pictures, a blanket and food. Omri got his old sweater and then cut a square. Little Bear decided to sleep in the tepee. Little Bear told Omri to do a lot more things for Little Bear tomorrow. Omri promised. Then they all went to sleep.

While I read chapter 2 I read that the indian Patrick gave Omri was now alive. Something made it magical. So at first when Omri's mom gave him a key to lock the cupboard. When Omri put the indian in the cupboard and locked it. The next morning Omri heard this rumbling noise. The rumbling noise was the indian shaking the whole cupboard. When Omri opened the cupboard it was the idian. Who was talking to him in english. Omri rubbed and rubbed his eyes because, he thought it was a dream. But, which it wasn't. Then later, in the morning Omri wanted to tell his mom and dad about the indian. But he couldn't. Omri wanted to keep it secretly. Then when Omri went up stairs to "brush his teeth". Which instead Omri went to see the indian.To check it out. Before he took off to school. So then during the schoolday Omri told Patrick that he really liked the indian. But, Patrick thought that the other presents Omri got were better than his. Omri accsidently told Patrick abbout the indian. That it talked to him but that the indian couldn't write yet. Patrick looked confused. Patrick heard that while finishing the spelling test. But, then Omri remembered that Patrick wouldn't be live him until he saw it. So Omri then said that he was just joking.
